Hack And Trace E-Mail

As you can see TechOnFleek is still us, we’re still hacking and learning! Today we will show you how to trace an e-mail address. Where it came from!

First off you need to find the header of the e-mail you’re tracing, in this case, we’re using a test e-mail I sent from g-mail to myself. You will do this by clicking on reply and selecting “Show Original”. Now you’re going to see all the crazy looking stuff that you normally don’t that’s in an e-mail. ‘

1. Go to the e-mail click as if you were going to reply and select “Show Original”. (gmail)

2. Afterwards you will see another box pop-up with the e-mail in it, but it will look different, this is the header.

3. Take this information copy and paste it at the following website where they have an trace-e-mail-analyzer (there are many others use any tool you’re comfortable with)
